Commodity Handling & Storage

Westbury Group operates a comprehensive and highly efficient commodity handling and storage network at Port Qasim and Karachi Port. Through Mapak Qasim Bulkers (MQB), FWQ Enterprises, and Bulk Management (BM), the Group provides large-scale, safe, and reliable handling of edible oils, liquid bulk cargo, and dry commodities, supported by modern infrastructure and international standards.

Mapak Qasim Bulkers (MQB) is Pakistan’s largest edible oil bulking terminal located at Port Qasim. With extensive storage infrastructure and modern handling systems, MQB handles over 1.3 million metric tons annually of imported edible oil and related commodities, playing a vital role in the national supply chain.

FWQ Enterprises operates advanced bulk storage systems at Port Qasim designed for the safe and efficient handling of edible oils and other liquid cargoes. In addition, FWQ manages a modern dry cargo warehouse built on approximately 5 acres, offering more than 130,000 square feet of covered storage space to support large-scale warehousing and distribution operations.

Bulk Management (BM) operates specialized storage terminals at Karachi Port for molasses and ethanol. Equipped with modern storage tanks and compliant handling systems, BM supports high-volume storage and export operations while meeting international safety and quality requirements.

Built to international standards, these facilities form the backbone of the Group’s supply chain — from jetty operations to refining, distribution, and exports.

Storage & Handling Facilities

The terminals are equipped with API-standard storage tanks, modern pigging systems, and dedicated pipeline networks connecting directly to the edible oil jetty and refinery. Each tank is designed with strict temperature monitoring, insulation options, and advanced safety systems to maintain product integrity.

FWQ’s bulk storage systems support both liquid and dry commodities, including fully covered warehouses, lorry loading bays, and modern firefighting and spill-control systems.

Integration with Port Qasim’s operational framework ensures fast vessel discharge, reduced turnaround time, and contamination-free transfer to refineries and distribution units.
