MAPAK Edible Oils (Pvt.) Limited (MEO) is a Pakistan–Malaysia joint venture between the Westbury Group (Pakistan) and Malaysian Associates recognized among the world’s largest and most respected palm oil producers. This strategic partnership combines global expertise with strong local market knowledge to deliver high-quality edible oil solutions to Pakistan’s food industry.

Strategically located at Port Qasim, Karachi, Mapak Edible Oil (Pvt.) Limited  operates state-of-the-art industrial facilities dedicated to edible oil refining and seed processing. The company has developed two modern value-added industrial units, each situated on separate 14-acre plots, designed to meet the highest international standards of efficiency, quality, and operational safety.

The Mapak Edible Oil (Pvt.) Limited  refinery commenced commercial operations in April 2006 and was formally inaugurated on 25 July 2006 by the then President of Pakistan. Since its commissioning, the refinery has established itself as one of the largest and most technologically advanced edible oil refining facilities in Pakistan.

Mapak Edible Oil’s (Pvt.) Limited refining complex includes two physical refining units with capacities of 400 TPD and 800 TPD, along with one chemical refining unit with a capacity of 400 TPD, enabling the company to process a wide range of edible oils with consistent quality and high efficiency. All plants are supplied by Alfa Level.

Mapak Edible Oil (Pvt.) Limited also operates a state-of-the-art solvent extraction plant, with key equipment supplied by Desmet Belgium, a global leader in oilseed processing technology. The plant initially had a processing capacity of 400 tons per day for oilseeds such as canola, soybean, and sunflower. To meet growing market demand, the facility was expanded with an additional processing line of 500 tons per day, increasing the total oilseed crushing capacity to approximately 900 tons per day. The expansion was carried out using advanced equipment supplied by HUM Oil & Fats Technologies, Turkey, a globally recognized provider of modern oilseed processing solutions.

The refinery operates under a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control system. A fully equipped, modern Quality Control Laboratory performs comprehensive physical and chemical analyses of oils and finished products, ensuring strict monitoring of quality parameters throughout production, storage, and dispatch operations.
